Start neutral with zero Sin and speak to a village Sensei. Mission boards and quest rewards build reputation.
Exam milestones

| Genin | Reach the reputation cap, accept the exam, defeat the Barbarian, return to the Sensei. |
| Chunin | Accept the exam and grip an eligible Genin-or-higher from another village. |
| Jonin | Accept the exam and defeat the required Rogue target. The video says S-rated; the later fan page says B-rated or above. Follow the actual exam objective. |
ANBU and Kage
After Jonin, continue earning reputation. Weekly faction rankings assign the limited ANBU places and the top Kage position. These are not ordinary one-time trainer unlocks.
Rogue progression
The village video places automatic exile at 25 Sin. Rogues gain ranks through reputation without village exams; leading players can become Akatsuki and Akatsuki Leader. Clearing Sin and redeeming at the Rosemary Pit frog restores neutral status, followed by a rejoining wait.
Exam rule
Accept the exam before completing its target and read the required faction/rank carefully. A current quest card resolves the documented disagreement about the Jonin target.
