Discord progression counters — August guide

These are community-reported counters, not a published XP formula. Stage 5 M1 and block totals are lifetime totals in the post, not additional counters to add after Stage 4.

Stage 4 eligibility update

The August 23 Byakugan guide names both Hyuga and Otsutsuki for Stage 4, unlike the older Hyuga-only description. Stage 5 still requires the separate trainer route and solo Neji fight; Stage 5 eligibility for non-Hyuga is not established here.

Natural awakening and early upgrades

1. Accumulate combat experience from fighting, blocks and perfect blocks.
2. Get knocked and recover without being gripped to trigger the natural awakening when eligible.
3. Use Byakugan and continue combat training. Visit the Hyuga Elder reached from The Expanse and ask about your eyes.
4. Repeat the training and elder check for stages 2, 3 and 4. Keep Sin low enough for the elder to speak.

How much training?

The older video’s approximate perfect-block targets are historical. Use the dated Discord counter table above as a newer community reference, and confirm eligibility through the Elder’s dialogue.

Other bloodlines

Implanted Byakugan and Otsutsuki are documented through Stage 3 in the older route; it does not establish Stage 5 eligibility for other clans.
