Rinnegan

DNA-based route

1. Obtain Senju DNA: natural Senju or a successfully implanted Senju arm.
2. Obtain Uchiha DNA through Mangekyo Sharingan. A basic Sharingan alone is not the stated prerequisite.
3. Age with both requirements present. The DNA guide describes a chance-based awakening check and later shows the character visiting the progression NPC.

Counter uncertainty

A separate “new requirements” video reports a friend succeeding with 75–100 grips, 50 Sin, ten years after a Senju-arm implant and age above 50. The creator did not personally test those thresholds and calls several of them uncertain. Do not treat them as mandatory or as a guaranteed recipe.

Historical Rinnekyou quest — May 2024

The older Item Level guide describes bringing scooped Mangekyo, Hashirama Cells and 50 Sin to Rinnekyou beyond The Catacombs. Its cell recipe uses one Glow Weed, three Mashed-up Cells and one Life Up Fruit. This is retained as history, not merged into the DNA route.

Implant alternative

The same older guide allows extracted Rinnegan eyes to be implanted at Kabuto, with no other special eyes equipped and a chance of failure. Current implant counters are not established by that source.

Why the routes stay separate

The inspected material does not provide a developer-confirmed current Rinnegan formula. The video demonstration supports the existence of the DNA route; the exact NPC check, probabilities and present-day minimum counters remain unresolved.
